Saturday, 26 June 2010 00:00

In the early days Gorey Harbour was one of the main anchorages and ports of Jersey. This beautiful harbour in the north east of Jersey is completely dry at low tide because of the difference of about 8 meters between low tiden and high tide. You can also find here the Mont Orgueil Castle wihcih dates from the twelfth century. Gorey Harbour, about 15 miles from France, is home for fishing boats and sailing boats.  In the gallery you'll find some pictures of this beautiful harbour.
